ADRIATIC COAST:

Situated 18 km South West from the Adriatic Coast south of Ancona. This beautiful coastline stretches from Pesaro to the north as far as San Benedetto del Tronto to the south it has as many as nine blue flag beaches all with their own individuality some with beach bars some much quieter. Most of the larger resorts have harbours and marinas of varying sizes both Civitanova Marche and San Benedetto del Tronto being much larger housing pleasure craft, fishing fleet and boat building facilities.
NESTLING IN THE HILLS

Where to go here ?

There are so many local villages to visit all with their own character it would it would be unfair to pick any out individually ! But here are a few suggestions slightly further afield.
The Grotte di Frasassi near to Fabriano are worth a visit as is the University town of Urbino these could be combined into one trip.
Around the Monte Conero just to the south of Ancona there are many secluded beaches that can only be accessed by boat and it is possible to arrange these trips from nearby Sirolo or Numana.
Nearer to home for those who like the sea but prefer some peace and quiet there is the beach at Marina Palmense next to Porto San Giorgio the only draw back being that it is pebbles rather than sand.
Nearer to Ancona Loreto is worth a visit where there is the Holy House of Nazareth here you can see the Black Madonna reputed to have been brought from the Holy Land by the Angels.
Further south San Benedetto del Tronto with its famous promenade shaded by many palm trees and many shops
